John Paul Grant | The Brief Bio
NOTE: For professional/event biographies, feel free to use the following:
-John Paul Grant is the CEO & C0-founder of a Philippines Corporation by the name of Kaizenify, our main service currently is a Philippines Virtual Assistant Company; RemoteWorkMate.com. He’s particularly passionate about the Lifestyle Business Design Blog. In his miniscule spare time, John enjoys to travel and watch his beloved Liverpool FC run around.
Who Am I?
Firstly, my name is John, 26 yrs old, and currently living in Davao City, Philippines. I was a full time SEO / PPC / Web Marketer for a global safety corporation, but I had entrepreneurial aspirations & it was time to make them a reality. I loved the job I did, but I hated working for someone else, I hated being chained to desk from 9-5 and I hated the fact that if i stop working tomorrow I stop making money!

Day of Freedom
So I locked in May 11th, 2011 as the day I fly to the Philippines, on an adventure that has in some way changed & determined the rest of my life. I of course hope I succeed here, but if I don’t I know I will have no regrets. I am going into this with the thinking that “you only regret that which you don’t do, not that which you do, do” (not the best wording sorry, but you get the idea). If you are considering going on a similar journey, then follow along, hopefully I can help in some way.
If you can at all relate, then join me on the quest for a better lifestyle! Contact me, comment … Lets help and push each other towards our goals.
So like I said, I am 26 and I am really starting to feel the pressure … I know I am not old, but I know this is the best time of my life to start a successful business, while I am young and have little responsibilities such as kids and a mortgage. I almost feel like it is a now or never situation (i know its not entirely, but lets face it, it will get more difficult the older I get). For me it is either going to be a great life or a shit life … no average life for me, that scares me more than anything! Boring, safe, average … No thanks!

The Point of the Website
So our goal is to become completely location independent by the end of 2011, no more working for the man, no more being chained to a desk, no more putting on weight due to the lack of movement throughout the day, no more boring, mundane lifestyle! It is time to get my life into gear and take control!
In the background I have been setting up my lifestyle business which I hope will take me to the life I want to live, but at the same time help many others on their quest. The business is a Philippines Virtual Assistant Company, called RemoteWorkMate.com. I have connections in the Philippines who have helped make it a reality. The business is growing at a steady rate. I am working at my job as the business has quite a few overheads, which would make start-up impossible without the job.
I have learnt a lot so far, but know I have a lot more learning to do. I wanted to share my story and knowledge with the communiity because I know it will benefit a lot of people. (There are a lot more smarter cookies out there than me)
I hope you can join me on this journey to freedom, and perhaps learn what it takes to make it on your own.
So by the end of 2011 I hope to be able to live anywhere, and work from my laptop. I am not a successful lifestyle entrepreneur yet, but I know I will be, not because I am arrogant and think highly of myself, but because I will not stop trying until I get there! I hear a lot of fellow entrepreneurs talk about ‘hustle’ and that is exactly what it takes! Pig headed determination!

Kaizenify consists of a group of businesses mainly focusing on the new media, online business and lifestyle design. Started by John at an early age due to his obsessions and passion for the internet space.
Meet The Founders
Brief History
Started by John, a restless 24 yr old with a passion for entrepreneurship, lifestyle design and helping others.
Kaizenify was first formed as a Small SEO / Web Design agency which aimed at helping local businesses throughout the Illawarra and Sydney regions of Australia, however John quickly discovered that a large majority of small agencies simply outsource the work overseas to bring down the expenses and instead of doing what everyone else was doing, John shut down the local Australian agency and started looking for office space in the Philippines where he could start a virtual staffing / outsourcing company. This is where the main child company of Kaizenify was formed … www.RemoteWorkMate.com.
Initially started by in Manila the company sooned moved to Davao City where a fast growing economy and large talent pool has proved to be a successful move. The moved proved most successful mainly thanks to the fantastic start-up team who have been well managed by Kiara Cubillo.
Partnership
In May of 2011, Matt Canty joined as a partner to help take the company to the next level.
